THINGS TO DO
There are plenty of local amenities including a Spa Grocer, Butcher, Garages, Eateries, Bike hire, Canoeing, Fishing, Sailing, Dr, Dentist and an abundance of wildlife and scenery. Lochcarron is an ideal location from which to explore further the west coast of Scotland with easy access to the Isle of Skye, Applecross, Torridon and Gairloch. Close-by, Attadale Gardens offers visitors the chance to explore ancient paths that wind through woodlands, over bridges, waterfalls and exotically planted ponds. Lochcarron also has its own 9-hole golf course in a superb lochside location and one of the world’s most scenic rail routes, the Kyle Line.
The Pottery & Craft Shop is in the old school & schoolhouse at Cam-allt which was built around 1860. This building was then converted in 1976/7 by Barry & Anne Jones, where Barry was the full time potter.
